Having had an affinity towards the arts and culture of Indonesia, Bunka Gakuen University (Japan) graduate and designer, Miki Eto has always heralded a calling to transform the stigma that the Indonesian handicrafts hold. To challenge its predominant imagery as something archaic and not fitting for the everyday wear. For this reason, Miki has unswervingly been on the look out for collecting and collaborating with the magic hands of high quality local craftsmen, packed with ample modern nuances. Sadhu strives to support local artisans, by making headway for them to the ethical fair trade, and at the same time making everyone fall in love with the cultural wealth that Indonesia has to offer all over again.
